The Orangery

We are very pleased to announce that our gorgeous new Orangery is now open!

The perfect space for weddings, functions and conferences, boasting picturesque views over the Derbyshire countryside.

Congratulations Emily & Joe!

Congratulations to Emily & Joe who celebrated their wedding day here at The Red Lion on Saturday the 11th of December. The snow didn't stop them or their guests enjoying the day.

The Red Lion in the Snow!

Over two foot of snow has fallen here over the last week, some of the heaviest snow fall the Midlands has seen in years! It caused problems for many on the roads but we managed to clear our car park and host a wedding reception in the middle of all the chaos!

We just had to share with you some photos of The Red Lion in the Snow as its looks so beautiful... even if we do say so ourselves!

Our Brand New Orangery!

We are very excited to share with you the latest developments on the build of our brand new Orangery!

We are now at the final stages, the bad weather has unfortunately put us back a few days but we are still on schedule for the December opening in time for our Christmas Celebrations! Credit to our builders who have continued to work hard through all weather conditions.

The brickwork and windows complement the rest of the exterior perfectly.
