We are thrilled to have been awarded 2 rosettes from the AA for culinary excellence. 

The long established rosette scheme recognises successful cooking at different levels. Dan Laycock Head Chef s said  ‘We are extremely proud and delighted. It’s a massive achievement for both myself and the team and to have of been awarded our second so soon after our first and to know that all the hard work and determination has paid off to make what we are doing here the best in the area’

We've just had a trip down to our very own Derbyshire Garden.

Lee our Groundsman has been very busy planting beetroots, cabbages, peas, rhubarb, sage, sprouts and broccoli. 
Did you know that everything we grow is served in our Award Winning Bistro...you can't get more local that that!

 

 

Summer Market

Our Summer Market which took place last Sunday was once again a brilliant success. The weather couldn't have been better and it certainly brought people out.  Over 35 suppliers showcased their produce and some suppliers had run out of stock before the event finished.

We are now busy working on our Christmas Market which will be taking place on Sunday 30th November 2014.

 

Lee has been busy today putting up our Summer Market Banner, it's looking good don't you think?

 

We have got a selection of local suppliers who will be showcasing a range of food, drink and crafts.  Come along and sample some great produce before you buy.

 

Our Chefs will be holding cookery demonstrations throughout the day to inspire you!
